raspberry summer cocktail

Runner-up best summer cocktail: Raspberry Lemon Spritz

Ingredients

  • 2 oz. Limoncello
  • 1 oz. fresh raspberry puree (made from about 6 to 8 fresh raspberries)
  • 4 oz. sparkling raspberry lemon water (preferably from Bevi!)
  • 1 oz. Prosecco (optional, for extra fizz)
  • Fresh raspberries and lemon slices for garnish
  • Ice cubes

Directions

  1. Muddle the fresh raspberries in a small bowl until they are well crushed. If you prefer a smoother texture, you can strain the puree through a fine mesh sieve to remove the seeds.
  2. In a glass, combine the Limoncello and raspberry puree with ice. Stir well to mix the flavors.
  3. Pour in the Bubbly Raspberry Lemon sparkling water. Stir gently to combine.
  4. If you want an extra kick of fizz, top the drink with 1 oz. of Prosecco. Garnish with fresh raspberries and a slice of lemon.

Hugo Spritz summer cocktail

Sleeper cocktail of the summer? Hugo Spritz

The Hugo Spritz is a light, bubbly drink that makes for one of the most refreshing summer cocktails.

It was first made around 2005 by a bartender named Roland Gruber in a small town in northern Italy. At first, he used a lemon-flavored syrup and called it the “Otto.” Later, he changed the name to “Hugo” because he liked how it sounded better, and he started using elderflower liqueur instead.

What is a Hugo Spritz?

This vibrant Hugo Spritz comes together with just a few key ingredients: bubbly Prosecco, fragrant elderflower liqueur, crisp sparkling water, and a handful of fresh mint and lime to tie it all together.

Hugo Spritz ingredients

  • 3 oz. Prosecco
  • 2 oz. elderflower liqueur (such as St-Germain)
  • 1 oz. sparkling lime mint water (preferably from Bevi!)
  • Fresh mint leaves
  • Lime slices
  • Ice

Hugo Spritz recipe

  1. Fill a glass with ice. Add a few fresh mint leaves and a lime slice for flavor.
  2. Pour in the elderflower liqueur and Prosecco.
  3. Top off with Bubbly Lime Mint Bevi water for a refreshing fizz.
  4. Gently stir to mix the flavors.
  5. Garnish with a mint sprig and a lime slice.
