Problem

DoorDash is a food delivery platform that uses logistics to optimize delivery; its services have not only satisfied over 10 million orders but also helped grow small businesses who couldn’t afford delivery before. Their continual quest in optimization included their office operations. As their company expanded, their beverage consumption began taking a toll both on their checkbook and the environment. They finally decided to seek out a solution that would provide healthy options for employees, as well as save their time, money and the environment.

Solution

They began looking for fun eco-friendly options and came across Bevi through word of mouth. Ashley, Doordash’s office manager, said: “There’s no one else out there who does what you guys do.”

DoorDash makes an effort to provide healthy options for employees, whether that be in-office exercise classes, group outings, or snack and beverage options. It contributes to people drinking more water, which is always a good thing.”

With the money they’ve saved by using Bevi, Doordash has also been able to redistribute their snack budget and spend their funds differently.

“I don’t have to order drinks anymore so time-wise [the Bevi] is invaluable because it’s one less thing that I have to worry about every day.”

Getting a Bevi has allowed DoorDash to cut out the majority of their beverage wastes. “For us, well for me personally, I think the impact that Bevi has on creating less waste is the biggest thing.” DoorDash now only carry several bottled waters for their guests. Sometimes, when the guests arrive at the office and see the Bevi, they say: “I want that instead.”
