Mike Petrovitch, who day-to-day goes by Mike P, has been with The Orchard for over eight years and in the music business for thirteen. As the Procurement and Administrative Services Manager, he is, in his words, “the go-to for everything except making the actual deal for the record label.”
Problem/Situation
The office, located in the heart of the East Village, is simultaneously high-tech and laid back. Mike P says that The Orchard does a lot for their employees because “employees are number one for us.” Everyone works really hard and The Orchard offers their employees fun high-tech perks to thank them. Their office has, among many things, state-of-the-art coffee machines, fresh fruit delivered every week, beer on tap, and even a classic arcade machine.
When Mike P started receiving complaints about their water options, he immediately sought out a solution. Employees wanted sparkling water so Mike P installed a water machine. Unfortunately, it often failed to work properly, resulting in frustrated and thirsty employees.
Around this time, Mike P was asked to look into getting a Bevi water dispenser for their office. They piloted the rollout with a stand-up machine and one countertop. “I hoped I was making the right decision,” he said, “and holy cow did I ever.”
They saved 30,000 bottles in the first month from one machine.

It’s not big and bulky like a vending machine.” He also loves that the water dispenser directly contacts Bevi technicians whenever service is needed. “The Bevi full-service is phenomenal.”
